Alaska Cruises. The season is short, mid-May to mid-September and typically starts booking the during the previous year's cruise season. I'm looking to put together a group for 2012. Most likely a short cruise and land portion. Watch for details here.

And yes, cruise lines are booking the 2012 season in Alaska. After several years of cutting back on capacity in Alaska, Princess Cruises today announced it soon would be reversing course and adding berths. The line says it will operate seven ships in the state in 2012, up from six in 2011.
